Theyre cute i would wear them because the dress is long nobody can see it plus heels are really tiring.

It is pretty common now. I ended up barefoot at the end of the night. Perhaps I should have bought a pair.

I wore 4 inch heels on the sand in Hawaii. Unless you’re supermodel tall, I can’t imagine why you would want to wear flip flops. You didn’t say. Is your fiance shorter than you? Were you thinking of wearing these after the ceremony? Do you just not wear heels? If it’s a beach wedding, then yeah I get it.

if your getting married on a beach then flip flops are ideal. i wouldnt recommend it if your getting married in a hotel or church etc. flip flops are flimsy and if you step on stones etc it will go right through your shoe. also everyone around you will be wearing shoes which means your toes could get hurt! also, if you went out in a posh/dressed up floor length dress you wouldnt think its ok to wear flip flops so why now for your wedding?

They are cute, but only wear for the reception if your dress is long, but honestly I don’t really think that they should be worn for the actual wedding.

i know someone who wore flip flops at the reception. she put them on right after she got married.

I wore ballet slippers – they were beyond comfortable. I would do it again in a second.

The only setting that I think flip flops at the actual wedding would be appropriate is a casual beach wedding.
They’re called flip flops for a reason. Do you really want that slapping sound as you’re going up the aisle? And hogwash that a long dress will hide them. People see your shoes when you walk and when you dance. Also, your gait is very different in heels (even fairly low ones) than in flat shoes: you have a sway to your hips, and therefore your dress, that adds a beauty, elegance and grace that you cannot get with flip flops.
Flip flops are on the extreme casual end of fashion while a wedding gown is on the extreme formal end of fashion. Why would you degrade the outfit with pool shoes? Would you put your hair up with a rubber band on your wedding day? Would you carry your everyday catch-all bag instead of a pretty purse? You’re a grown-up on your wedding day: you should look like a sophisticated one. Nothing about flip flops says “sophisticated”.

I think those are ok flip flops, but they’re expensive. I wouldn’t buy them.
I wore flip flops during my reception because I was dancing the whole time and eventually my 3 inch heels got the better of me. These are the ones I wore: http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/onlineProductDisplay.vs?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=CK-170380&page=1&cgname=OSSHUSPRZZZ&rfnbr=5985 Not exactly glamorous, but I had a long skirt so nobody really saw them. Plus, they have a 3 inch platform which meant that my dress didn’t drag on the floor.

Since I live in Florida, beach wedding are popular, and yes, I have seen brides in tea length white dresses and flip flops.
The ones you show have while, pink and brown and remind me of the ones that are worn on the brides spa day.

I think it’s a cute idea. I wore heels and then changed into flip flops for the receptiong. I wouldn’t recommend wearing heels! They hurt my feet and during the whole ceremony I was wishing I hadn’t worn them! I think it’s cute when the bride wears flip flops!
